(standing for Registered <em>Amutah<\/em>), Registered <em>Amutah<\/em> or just <em>Amutah<\/em>.<\/p>\n<h4 dir=\"ltr\">The Israeli\u00a0<em>Amutah\u2019s <\/em>Logo<\/h4>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">If the <em>amutah <\/em>would like to use its name in its logo, it may do so without the accompanying \u201cR.A.\u201d or the other variations.\u00a0 It may only do so if the logo does not mislead others.\u00a0\u00a0 However, all an <em>amutah\u2019s <\/em>documents must include the term \u201cR.A.\u201d (or one of the similar terms) indicating its status.\u00a0 When writing the <em>amutah\u2019s <\/em>name, &#8220;R.A.,&#8221; Registered\u00a0<em>Amutah<\/em> or <em>Amutah<\/em>\u00a0 must appear prominently on organizational letterhead or other documentation.<\/p>\n<h4 dir=\"ltr\">The Objectives of the Israeli\u00a0<em>Amutah<\/em><\/h4>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">When applying with the Registrar of <em>Amutot <\/em>to register an organization, it is necessary to list a series of <em>amutah<\/em> objectives which the Registrar has on file.\u00a0 These objectives can also be recorded and updated with the Registrar at some other time.\u00a0 At the same time, it is important to make sure that the nonprofit organization\u2019s (<em>amutah\u2019s<\/em>) objectives match the objectives registered with the Registrar of <em>Amutot<\/em>.\u00a0 If for some reason the objectives are different, the <em>amutah <\/em>will have to obtain court approval before registering with the Registrar.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">An <em>amutah <\/em>is required to fulfill its clearly defined objectives and is not permitted to engage in any activity that does not meet its objectives, even if these actions provide important public services.\u00a0 If an <em>amutah <\/em>cannot meet some of its own objectives, then those specific objectives need to be removed.\u00a0 In order to add or remove objectives that seem to overlap too closely with an <em>amutah\u2019s <\/em>current objectives, the <em>amutah <\/em>may meet at a General Assembly and discuss resolutions that will then need to be assessed by the Registrar of <em>Amutot<\/em>.\u00a0 In order to add or remove objectives that are different from those already listed in the <em>amutah\u2019s <\/em>official objectives, the <em>amutah <\/em>must receive court approval.\u00a0 Additionally the Executive Board must bring the issue to the General Assembly to make sure that donor funds which were granted for specific objectives are still met.\u00a0 Objectives are only valid once they are registered with the Registrar.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">In the event that an <em>amutah<\/em> is not promoting its objectives, the <em>amutah <\/em>will not be able to receive a <a href=\"https:\/\/script_transfer_new.mowfns.ap-southeast-2.wpstaqhosting.com\/en\/certificate-of-proper-management-israeli-non-profit-organization-amuta\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">certificate of proper management<\/a>.\u00a0 In order to receive it, the <em>amutah <\/em>will need to prove that it will function as prescribed in Israel\u2019s <em>amutah <\/em>rules and regulations.<\/p>\n<h4 dir=\"ltr\">Contact Us<\/h4>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Contact us today if you have any questions about how to use the name and logo of your NGO, non-governmental organization or nonprofit organization (whether an <em>amutah<\/em> or <em>cheletz<\/em>) in Israel.\u00a0 Also, if you have any questions about your <em>amutah\u2019s <\/em>objectives and their implications, we would be happy to help.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Advocate Joshua Pex specializes in Israeli nonprofit law and would be happy to discuss the needs of your nonprofit organization.<\/p>\n<p>[author_and_contact_info]<strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Israeli rules and regulations for Israeli nonprofit organizations (or Israeli\u00a0amutah in singular and amutot in plural) can be confusing.\u00a0 In this article we address various issues about how an Israeli amutah\u00a0should use its\u00a0name and logo.\u00a0 Additionally we discuss the objectives of the Israeli amutah.
